ABOUT ME

I am a fully qualified, experienced traditional acupuncturist and caring health professional. My practice is based in a quiet and relaxing clinic in Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire.

 

I graduated from the College of Traditional Acupuncture and Oxford Brookes University in 2009 where I was awarded the Licentiate in Acupuncture and a first class BA(Hons) Degree. I practise Five Element acupuncture, also known as Traditional acupuncture. 

I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and adhere to the Council's Codes of Safe Practice and Professional conduct. My clinic is licensed by Stratford Upon Avon District Council and I hold full medical malpractice and public/products liabilty insurance cover.

 

As part of my membership with the British Acupuncture Council there is a mandatory requirement to participate in a yearly commitment of continual professional development. I regularly attend courses and study current research in a wide range of subjects. Over the past year this has  included areas in male and female fertility, mental health and pain relief.

 

I am also proud to be currently on the teaching team at The Acupuncture Academy in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. Supporting the training and development of acupuncturists of our future.

The British Acupuncture Council requires members to have achieved a comprehensive understanding of the theory of acupuncture and to have demonstrated clinical competence. Members must also have passed examinations in western medical sciences. They are also bound by the code of ethics covering confidentiality and relations with patients and the general public.
